Pokemon Blue

from $59.99

Pokémon Blue Version, alongside its counterpart Pokémon Red Version, holds a special place in the history of the Pokémon franchise as the first games to be released outside of Japan. These iconic titles were launched in North America on September 28, 1998, and marked the beginning of Pokémon's global success. Pokémon Blue, in particular, introduced players to the world of Kanto, where they embarked on their journey to become the Pokémon Champion, capturing and training the original 151 Pokémon along the way.

Unlike its predecessor, Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue featured a slightly different set of Pokémon available for capture, offering players the opportunity to experience the game in a unique way depending on which version they chose. This was the first instance of the "paired" version system, where players could trade Pokémon with friends to complete their Pokédex. Pokémon Blue was a groundbreaking title that helped lay the foundation for the series, offering a turn-based battle system, gym challenges, and the goal of defeating the Elite Four, all while introducing the world to the now-iconic Pokémon like Pikachu, Charizard, and Bulbasaur.

We have multiple copies of Pokémon Blue, including versions made between 1998-1999 and others from 1999-2000, giving collectors and fans the chance to own a piece of Pokémon history from its early days. As the game that helped launch the Pokémon craze worldwide, Pokémon Blue is not only a nostalgic classic for many, but a vital part of the franchise's legacy. Whether you're revisiting Kanto or discovering it for the first time, Pokémon Blue remains a must-have title for any Pokémon enthusiast.
