How the Grading Service Works: From Your Point of View

  1. Add the Grading Service to Your Cart
    Start by selecting the card grading service of your choice and add it to your cart. During checkout, you'll be able to choose your preferred return shipping method (such as standard or expedited shipping) for when your cards are graded and ready to be returned.

  2. Place Your Order
    Complete your order and confirm your purchase of the grading service.

  3. Shipping Information
    After your order is placed, PokéDad's Corner will reach out to you with instructions and provide a shipping address to send your ungraded Pokémon (or other TCG) cards to us. This is where you'll securely package and ship your cards to us for grading.

  4. Processing Your Cards
    Once your cards arrive at PokéDad's Corner, we will photograph or video record them to document their condition before sending them to the Beckett Grading Company at the end of the month.

  5. Return Shipping
    Once the grading process is complete and your cards are graded, we will ship them back to you using the return shipping method you selected during checkout.

How Our Grading Service Works

  1. Send Us Your Cards
    Simply send us your Pokémon cards for grading.

  2. Grading Process
    At the end of each month, we will compile your cards and submit them to a Certified Grading Company (CGC).

  3. Return Shipping
    Once your cards are graded, we will return them to you using your preferred shipping method.

Beckett Grading Recommendations

To ensure your cards are submitted in the best possible condition, Beckett recommends the following packaging guidelines:

  • Sleeve: Place each card in a protective sleeve.

  • Top-load: Insert the sleeved card into a rigid top loader for added protection.

  • Secure Packaging: Ensure cards are securely sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard to prevent any movement or damage during transit.

Please be aware that you are responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of your cards from you to us. Make sure your cards are securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit.

Upon receiving your cards, we will:

  • Take photographs and/or video to document the condition before submission.

  • Add your cards to our submission roster.

Service Process

  • Shipping Information: Any additional products purchased with the grading service will be shipped only once your graded cards are ready for return.

  • Monthly Reminders: At the end of each month, we will send a reminder to inform you of your submission’s status and shipment details.

  • Process Updates: We will provide timely updates via email as the grading process progresses.

Collectors’ Special Grading Tier

  • Price: $16.00 per card

  • Card Value: Below $400

Base Grading Tier

  • Price: $18.00 per card

Standard Grading Tier

  • Price: $30 per card

Priority Grading Tier

  • Price: $100 per card

  • Fastest Turnaround – Available for any card value

Sub-Grades Pricing

  • Sub-grades are available for an additional cost depending on the grading tier selected.

  • Sub-grades include evaluation of:

    • Centering

    • Surface

    • Edges

    • Corners

Additional Information

  • Return Shipping Cost: Shipping for the return of graded cards will be chosen at checkout.

  • Handling Fee: $1 per card (covers submission processing).

  • No Slab Cracking: If you are dissatisfied with the grade, you may choose to attempt cracking and resubmitting your card.
